West End Pediatrics offers same-day sick visits for urgent medical concerns such as fevers, ear infections, diarrhea, nausea, asthma, allergic reactions and more. Children or Adolescents, who are ill and wish to be seen, will be scheduled for sick appointments during normal office hours. If you wish to schedule an appointment, please call on the day you want your child to be seen and we will schedule a time for you. Our office opens at 8 am to schedule appointments.
Sick visits for chronic complaints usually require more physician time than an acute problem. When you call, please tell the scheduler if the problem has been recent or long standing. On occasion we may have you speak with a nurse to discuss the nature of your visit so that we may allot the proper amount of time to address your concerns. Nurses are available to speak with during the day with any questions or concerns you may have.
To schedule a same day sick visit, call West End Pediatrics and speak to our reception staff early in the day to request a same day appointment with the next available pediatrician. Call (212) 769-3070 for the "Uptown office" or (212) 353-0072 for the "Downtown office." You may also request an appointment online. If you need to have more than one child seen, we ask that you schedule all children. Without a scheduled time, we will be unable to add on additional siblings. It is very important to us to allow sufficient time to address your concerns and be fair to those with scheduled appointments to follow.
West End Pediatrics has physician on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies only.
Weekend Hours: We are open most weekend mornings for sick visits only. Our phones will be turned to our after-hours service promptly at 11:30 AM. All appointments must be scheduled prior to this time. Please contact our office at 212-769-3070 with any questions.
